Step Ahead provides safe, structured, and supportive group homes for boys and girls in Arizona’s foster care system. Working with the Arizona Department of Child Safety, our Qualified Residential Treatment Programs (QRTPs) provide trauma-informed care that recognizes each youth’s strengths, experiences, and individual needs.From the time a youth enters our program, we work with them and their support team to develop an individualized service plan focused on their goals. Through education, independent living skills, athletics, creative activities, and positive relationships, we help youth build confidence and develop skills for everyday life. At Step Ahead, we believe progress takes patience, encouragement, and consistent support. Our goal is to give every youth a sense of belonging and the tools to move toward a more stable and independent future.
